Five Nepali nationals, including four men and one woman, were rescued by the Nepali Embassy in Thailand, with the help of the Thai government. Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality Chair, Prem Prasad Pun, shared that three out of eight planned hydropower projects along the Myagdi River, as well as its tributaries Gurja and Mudi rivers have started construction. The Upper Myagdi-1 Hydropower Project will feature a dam in Khamla, Mudi, and a powerhouse in Malika Rural Municipality-7, Bharbang.
