A tragic bus accident in Ward 3 of Temal Rural Municipality early Thursday morning resulted in one person dead and another seriously injured.
“The accident occurred at around 5:40 am when the bus was returning from a wedding party, lost control while reversing at a turn and fell approximately 200 meters down a slope,”said Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghale.
The person who died was 50 year old Ram Singh Tamang of Temal rural municipality, while the driver who got injured was 50 year old Krishna Balan from Bagmati Rural Municipality, was immediately taken to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment.
Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the accident to determine the circumstances that led to this unfortunate incident.
