Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli visited the Kirtipur Burn Hospital this afternoon to inquire about the health condition of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Bishnu Poudel and Mayor of Pokhara Dhanraj Acharya, who are currently undergoing treatment for burn injuries.

Accompanied by his spouse, Radhika Shakya, Prime Minister Oli met with medical professionals and received updates on the condition of the injured leaders. Deputy Prime Minister Poudel and Mayor Acharya sustained injuries in a fire incident that broke out during a function in Pokhara on Saturday. The Prime Minister expressed his concern and wished them a speedy recovery.

In addition to Prime Minister Oli, former Prime Ministers Sher Bahadur Deuba and Madhav Kumar Nepal also visited the hospital earlier today to check on the health of Deputy Prime Minister Poudel and Mayor Acharya. The leaders were briefed on the treatment progress by the medical team, including hospital director Dr. Kiran Kishore Nakarmi.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Oli took the time to inquire about the condition of those injured in a separate incident—a cooking gas cylinder explosion at Shandar Momo Center in Kamalpokhari. The victims of this explosion are also receiving treatment at the same hospital.

The visits from top political leaders highlight the government's concern for those affected by recent tragic incidents and reinforce their commitment to ensuring the best medical care for the injured individuals.
