Kathmandu – Nepal’s struggles in the Women’s T20I Tri-Series continued as the Netherlands secured a dominant 10-wicket victory at TU Cricket Ground, handing Nepal their fifth straight loss.

Batting first, Nepal posted 145/4, led by Puja Mahato’s unbeaten 62—Nepal’s first T20I half-century at TU. Indu Barma (39) and Rubina Chhetri (20) provided support, but the total proved insufficient. Iris Zwilling took two wickets, while Babette de Leede was sharp behind the stumps with two catches and two stumpings.

In response, the Netherlands chased down the target effortlessly in 19.4 overs. Sterre Kalis starred with a blistering 98* off 69 balls, while Phebe Molkenboer added 48*, guiding their team to an unbeaten 151-run partnership.

The Netherlands now face Thailand in a must-win clash, while Nepal looks to avoid a winless campaign in their final game.
